Communication is core to building relationships and doing life together with your small, big, and everything in between sized groups! Until now, you could only start new chat conversations with your groups from Church Center. Those days are gone, and now you can fire off new chat conversations in your groups directly from the toolbar in any product on the admin side!
How does it work?
From the toolbar, click on the chat icon, then the New conversation button.
You’ll see your groups that you have permissions to chat in here. Click on the group that you want to start the new conversation in.
Enter a title for the conversation, then click that Start conversation button. These conversations will show up across all the chat platforms for folks to engage with including here on the Planning Center web toolbar, Church Center web and mobile app and the Services mobile app.

We have a vision to expand Planning Center chat to as many touch points as possible within your church to enhance communication and community. Allowing the ability to create new group chat conversations from the admin side is one more step to making communication easy, from wherever you are.
