Search in Groups

Use search in Groups to quickly find groups, group types, and people.

Start a search

1. Select the 🔍 search icon at the top of the page or press / on your keyboard to activate the search bar.

2. Type what you're looking for into the search field. You can search by:

   • Group names

   • Group type names

   • Person's name

   • Phone numbers

   • Email addresses

3. Select an item from the list to view it. Search results are limited to 10.

Search results

Group name

Group results show the group name, group image, and associated group type. Every group is assigned the default Unique Groups type if a new group type hasn't been manually assigned.

Group type

Results for custom group types show all associated group names and group images. If there are no groups assigned to the custom group type, no results will appear.

People

Results for names, phone numbers, or email addresses show the person's full name, profile image, email address, and phone number.

Permissions

Search works differently depending on your role.

	Administrator	Group type manager	Group leader
