Groups is built for connection! Both in-person and online events enhance these connections. You can create events individually or in bulk for many groups at once.

Administrators can create and edit events for any group from the main Calendar tab or the individual group's Events tab.

Group leaders can create and edit events for groups they lead from the individual group's Events tab or from Church Center.
Schedule events to let people know when your groups will meet. Events created from the Groups admin pages appear in Church Center.

From a group's Events tab, select Create a new event in the top right corner.

In the Event Details section, add the event name and description.

In the Schedule section, set the meeting date and time. If this is a one-time event, set Repeat to Never; otherwise, choose the appropriate frequency and set the date of the final instance.

In the Location section, set a physical location or provide a virtual link.

In the Event Reminders section, choose if and when to send automated reminder emails.

In the RSVPs section, decide if you want to track RSVPs. RSVPs allow group members to confirm their attendance for upcoming events through reminder emails or directly on Church Center. Uncheck this box if you don't want to capture responses for your event.

Select Create event to add it to your group calendar.
Once an event has been created, you can make changes to it or delete it. To edit an event:

On the event's page, select Edit event in the top right corner.

Update any of the following settings:

event details (name and description)

Schedule (date and time)

Location
-
If and when reminders are sent

RSVP settings
Important
If the event is in the past, you cannot edit the date, time, event reminders, or RSVPs setting.

To save the changes, scroll to the bottom of the page and select Save event. If your event repeats, choose to save for this event date only or this event and all future dates.
