Taking attendance is a huge part of Groups, and now leaders can do it quickly right from the Church Center app—no more going back and forth between the web and app for those day-of-group tasks!
The overall process of taking attendance in Church Center is the same as what your leaders are used to in Groups.
With the latest update to the Church Center app, leaders will see a new Take attendance button next to any live event that will show all the members ready to be accounted for.
Leaders can also get here from a link in their attendance reminder email—the link will open the app directly, or take them to Church Center web if they haven’t downloaded the app.
If your leaders have the right permissions, they will see the “looking to add someone?” link which takes them to Groups where they can add people. Once they submit attendance , leaders will get a quick overview and the option to modify it.
