To keep up with what's happening in your church's groups or be alerted to a potential problem, administrators can view most notifications from any app in a central notification inbox. The only exception is membership requests, which are found on the Pending requests page.
Administrators can view notifications about requests to join any groups on the Pending requests page. Group type managers can only view notifications for groups in the group types they manage. Group leaders cannot access this page but can view and approve or reject requests on the Members tab of their specific group.
Follow the steps below to view and approve or reject member requests:

Select the Groups page from the top navigation.

Select the ⚙️ settings icon.

Choose Member requests from the dropdown.

(Optional) Select View message under the member's details for any context about their request to join.

Approve or reject the request.

To approve: Select Add… to open the Membership request popup.

Select the dropdown under Manage request.

Choose whether to Add [member name] as a Member or Add [member name] a Leader.

(Optional) A default welcome email will be sent to notify the person of their approval. However, you can also include a custom welcome message by selecting the checkbox next to the person's name and email address, then drafting your message.

To finish, select Add Member or Message & Add Member.

To reject: Select Don't add... to open the Membership request popup.

(Optional) By default, the person will not be notified. You can choose to notify the person of your decision by selecting the checkbox next to the person's name and email address and drafting your message.
